Happy Birthday, Boss!

Shara’s story

I am originally from the year 2156. I was aboard the trading vessel Cedalion with my mate (husband), Mirek, and a crew of 15 when we hit a temporal anomaly. Our ship was destroyed.

Mirek and I managed to get to an escape pod (thanks to the noble sacrifice of an Andorian crew member named Kayla), but I am the only one who survived. Mirek died moments before we were discovered by Voyager.

While aboard Voyager, I began my StarFleet training as a doctor.

Due to some unusual circumstances (see the post "Transitions" for details), I came aboard the Liberty. (http://www.usslibertyrpg.com/)

When I first arrived, Rain - the First Officer/Science Officer, Morgan - the Engineer/Navigator, and Jared - the Pilot -were in serious condition. Jared, in particular, was very close to dying.

All three have recovered - although it took Jared longer than the others, due to the nature of his injuries.

I was offered the position of Chief Medical Officer, with the guarantee that I can run the infirmary however I see fit.

I decided to take the position. Voyager has the Doctor, plus several assistants. The Liberty did not have anyone with medical training at all. I felt they needed me.

After serving aboard the Liberty for some time, I took a position aboard the Orion Defiance, whose captain is an old acquaintance of mine, Navaar.

Now Navaar (along with Kor and H'Ress) has formed the NavKor 36 Syndicate, and I work for her in the medcenter for NavKor HQ, based on Tynnara.

I have also achieved my doctorate, so I am now Doctor Shara.
